VHS to DVD / Blu-Ray Transfer Service

Transferring video to DVD or Blu-Ray is one of the cornerstones of our business and we have lost count of the amount of videos we have transferred since we started trading.

We used to offer one service at one set price but we are excited to announce that we can now offer several services specifically designed to appeal to your unique requirements and budget.

Basic Tape to DVD Service

This is our basic service with no added extras, just a high quality copy from everything at the start of the tape until the tape is finished or the recording is stopped as the footage has finished.

This is perfect for backing up tapes for the convenience of watching on DVD but aren't of any great importance.

Please note, this service isn't available on Blu-Ray disc.

Enhanced Tape to DVD or Blu-Ray Service

This is our more advanced service which is perfect for cherished recordings from tape that are going to be watched time and again. We transfer the recording onto DVD or Blu-Ray disc via our computer systems, editing out the fuzzy part that are almost always noticeable at the start and end of recordings when one video runs into another.

Your DVD or Blu-Ray disc will start with a crisp shot and finish in exactly the same way.

Once we have transferred your recording onto our computers the fun really begins and we can make your recordings as lively and as personal as you could wish for.

We offer a range of services which we can add to each transfer to make them extra special.

Chapter Points at regular intervals

For easy navigation through your DVD or Blu-Ray disc we can add chapter points – just like the films you buy. They will be inserted at five minute intervals, making it easy to skip back and forth between different sections of the tape.

Intelligent Chapter Points

For incredibly easy navigation through your website we can add intelligent chapter points into your footage. Our customers have told us that they love the chapter points but sometimes skipping five minutes at a time they might skip onto a scene that is already started and they miss the beginning. Therefore we have introduced our intelligent chapter points, this service allows us to add a chapter point whenever the camera stops recording, and then starts again!

For example, one of our customer has recently returned from Egypt which was the holiday of a lifetime for him and his wife and he documented each part of the trip. He recorded:

• 1 minute of their hotel room
• 2 minutes of the banquet laid on for them on their first night
• 10 minutes of a firework display the hotel laid on

Using our intelligent chapter system he is able to skip between the start of the hotel room, start of the banquet or start of the firework display and each chapter will start at the beginning of that recording - sheer brilliance, and very convenient.

Custom Menus with Animated Buttons

This service looks fantastic. When you put your newly transferred video footage into your DVD or Blu-Ray player, rather than just play as it would have done on tape, a menu pops up (just like on a movie disc) and allows you to skip between all the different chapter points on the disc from one convenient place. The menu buttons are even animated, showing a little movie clip in each button for easy identification – sheer brilliance.

Custom Designed Personalised Disc and Disc Box Art

No tape to disc transfer package would be complete without some nice artwork on the disc and the disc box and that's exactly what this service provides.
We can design and print any pictures or wording you would like on the disc and the disc box for a truly unique package. They make fantastic gifts as well because they look so individual.

Pricelist for the enhanced service for DVD - we can fit up to two hours of footage per disc.

Pricelist for the enhanced service for Blu-Ray - we can fit up to TEN hours of footage on one disc!

The price increases over DVD are due to two factors:

• Blu-Ray media is very expensive to buy at the moment as it is new technology.
• Because we can fit up to ten hours of footage onto one disc, it takes a long time to edit, enhance, prepare and encode the disc ready for playback.
